Oslo Bysykkel / City Bike
Probably one of the easiest, most budget-friendly AND environmentally friendly ways to explore Grünerløkka and Oslo. You can spontaneously stop at cafés, parks, swimming spots, or viewpoints whenever something catches your attention. Fun fact: There is a bike station just 2 minutes from Bunks, and a day pass costs less than what you would spend on a couple of public transport rides. Breakfast in the neighbourhood
Grünerløkka offers plenty of great options for breakfast and lunch. Start your day with a delicious breakfast bagel at Bob the Bagel. If sandwiches are more your style, Braud offers a wide variety of freshly made options. At Vespa & Humla, you can enjoy breakfast served on a wooden board, as well as fresh pasta, homemade soups, and sourdough pizza throughout the day.

Getting around in Oslo
Located at Rodeløkka, close to Birkelunden, our hostel is surrounded by vibrant restaurants, cafés, and city life. Conveniently close to public transport, with trams and buses departing frequently. Two parking garages available for short- and long-term rentals.
Transport from Gardermoen Airport
The Airport Express train and VY commuter trains take about 25 minutes from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Oslo S.
Airport shuttles FB1 and FB5 will also take you from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Bunks at Rode. Get off at Københavngata. This bus stop is about 200 meters from the hostel.

WALKING

BY BUS
From Tollboden, next to Oslo Central Station, you can take bus number 30 (towards Nydalen) to Dælenenga. Bunks at Rode is located next to this bus stop.
OSLO CITY BIKE
City bikes is a complement to other forms of transportation around the city. Fast, fun and environmentally friendly.

BY TRAM
You can take trams 12, 15 and 18 to Birkelunden from Oslo Central Station. From there it is about 350 meters to walk to Bunks
